Dr. José María Villalón has been Head of Medical at Atlético de Madrid for over 30 years. He is a specialist in sports medicine, traumatology, and physical education. Previously, he led medical services for the Royal Spanish Athletic Federation and attended the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games. Since 1992, he has practiced at the University of Navarra Clinic in Madrid. He has also served as an associate professor of medicine.
