Yasuda Auditorium, University of Tokyo — June 24, 2025
For the first time in Asia, Sports Doctors Network convened at one of the world’s most prestigious academic venues — the Yasuda Auditorium at the University of Tokyo. The conference brought together an extraordinary range of expertise: from Olympic gold medalist Koji Murofushi and Nobel Foundation Chairman Prof. Carl-Henrik Heldin, to Japanese astronaut Naoko Yamazaki and tennis legend Kimiko Date.
Sessions explored how elite sports medicine innovations can be made accessible to all — from cutting-edge space medicine and gut microbiota research to presymptomatic diagnostics pioneered by Real Madrid and LA Lakers medical teams. Academic contributors included Harvard Medical School, Japanese health experts, and the Harvard Club of Japan.
