About the Conference

Zurich, Switzerland — May 27–28, 2025

Over two landmark days in Zurich, Sports Doctors Network convened the world’s foremost experts on head injuries in football. Held jointly at the University-Children’s Hospital Zurich and FIFA’s global headquarters, the conference tackled one of sport’s most pressing challenges: protecting players from the short and long-term effects of concussion.

Participating institutions included Harvard University, Imperial College London, Monash University, GC Zürich, AS Monaco, Real Madrid, and the NFL. The event closed with a charity football match at FIFA Headquarters, featuring Best Of You and Marbella FC against Swiss former internationals.
